Fat dissolving injections are made up of refined, plant-based compounds. An injectable substance known as Aqualyx, which comes from the deoxycholate family of acids is used to penetrate and dissolve the membranes within fat cells.
When injected, the fat cell becomes unstable and is forced to break open. The fatty acids contained within that cell are then passed through the body and eliminated.
Who are they suitable for?
Generally speaking, fat dissolving injections are suitable for anybody maintaining a healthy lifestyle, with small stubborn areas of fat. However, these injections may not be safe for somebody who is overweight, or obese and we would advise that a body sculpting procedure may be more suitable.

Do results show instantly?
You can expect to see the full results of fat dissolving injections around eight weeks after your first treatment. This is roughly how long your body’s natural draining process takes. Most people will need at least two treatments to get the results they want, but this also depends on your lifestyle, and any changes you make to complement the procedure.
