Which chemical peel is the best?

chemical peel aesthetic clinic

Chemical peels are one of the most common and effective ways to rejuvenate the skin and reveal a brighter, more youthful complexion. But which chemical peel is best, depends on your main concern, and your skin.

Here, we will narrow down both the Fillmed and Obagi treatments to help you decide which one is best for you.

What can chemical peels be used for?

Chemical peels can be used to target several different concerns, including:

• Wrinkles

• Dull skin

• Ageing skin

• Crows feet

• Acne

• Uneven skin tone

• Laughter lines

• Rosacea and redness

• Age spots

• Necklines

• Pigmentation

• Scars

• Eyebags

Here at Ness Aesthetics, we provide a range of different treatments to target multiple conditions.

Fillmed

The Fillmed range offers several different treatments to target specific concerns. Each one only takes around 40 minutes to complete and contains a unique complex of active ingredients to penetrate the skin and target any problem areas you may have.

How the treatments work

Each peel contains a specific blend of powerful active ingredients that combine antioxidant properties, hygroscopic for hydration, and Mandelic acid, a powerful PHA exfoliating ingredient that helps to target fine lines, dullness, and overall skin laxity. There is also a concentrated amount of citric acids within each treatment to help support the skin, target UV damage, and reduce hyperpigmentation.

Treatment times range from 30-40 minutes up to 1.15 hours, depending on which treatment you decide to go for. For the best results, we encourage you to have around 3 sessions, every two weeks and then once monthly after that. We will also have the option to include a nourishing and hydrating face mask that contains up to 8mg of Hyaluronic Acid for the ultimate finish.

The list of treatments in the Fillmed range includes:

• De-Stress and Glow – focusing on tension relief, Hydration plumping, and soothing

• Hydra Glow – for dull and dry skin

• Balance Blemishes – Combatting breakouts and spot-prone skin

• Positive Pro Aging Facial – Targeting the signs of aging

• My Lift and Firm Facial – Focusing on giving back skin its bounce

• Beautiful Eyes – Targeting tired eyes and relaxation

• Lunchtime Peel – To brighten the skin with immediate effect.

Obagi Facials

Obgagi facials are specially tailored around your individual needs and combine advanced medical grade, active ingredients to help with exfoliation, pigmentation, lines and wrinkles, breakouts, acne, and collagen production for full facial rejuvenation.

This multi-step treatment is one of the best ways effectively treat the skin, target areas of concern, stimulate collagen production and improve overall circulation with no downtime.

The treatment takes around 45-minute-long to complete and includes a facial massage and head massage for complete relaxation.
